Welbodi Partnership continues to
expand it’s work at the maternity hospital and is recruiting a Midwife to join the team in
Freetown, Sierra Leone. We are partnering with the Ministry of Health and
Sanitation and Princess Christian Maternity Hospital to improve care for women & newborns through clinical mentorship of nurses and
midwives. We are keen for our midwife to work alongside national mentors and
trainers to support ongoing training initiatives at the hospital and assess where additional support is needed to improve the quality of care. There is also an opportunity to be a part of an international research trial as well as work with national staff to coordinate care for Ebola survivors. Sierra Leone has some of the worst maternal and neonatal mortality
rates in the world and we want to be a part of making sure those numbers
rapidly decline. Join us to make a difference in the lives of women and newborns in

Location: Freetown, Sierra Leone
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: One year, with possibility of extension
